Complete or delete a campaign

Complete a campaign when the exercise is over and you want to keep its results. Delete it when you intend to remove its campaign records and associated history.

Open the campaign and use its completion action. Completion closes the exercise to new public interactions and stops future ordinary delivery work. Messages already submitted cannot be recalled. A submission already in flight may finish, and its outcome still needs accurate reconciliation.

Analysis remains available. Reporting mailboxes can still record a report for a completed campaign; this differs from the public interaction boundary. Inspect the source of a later report rather than assuming the campaign was reopened.

Deletion removes the campaign and its associated records. Export the information you need before confirming. Deleting a launched campaign does not make its old draft launchable again.

Resource deletion is a separate action. Groups, templates, pages, profiles, and domains can be protected while a campaign references them. Remove only resources you no longer need; shared use within your account is a reason to inspect references first.

Deleting a webhook job or campaign cannot recall a request that was already authorized or sent to an external service. If you need to remove copies retained by another system, handle that system separately.
